In September 2017, 4 new master thesis students started their work. The preliminary titles are:

  • Ellingsson, Anders: Aerial image estimation of residual timber volumes at SCA Skogs management division in Medelpad after the storms of the 2010s. Advisors: Jörgen Wallerman (SLU), Jonas Bohlin (SLU), Hans Petersson (SLU), Kalle Duvemo (SCA).
  • Jansson, Carl: En jämförelse mellan fotogrammetri och laserskanning som metod för att urskilja strukturer i trädskiktet. Advisor: Eva Lindberg, SLU.
  • Persson, Magnus: Tree species classification using multi-temporal Sentinel-2 data. Advisors: Heather Reese and Eva Lindberg, SLU.
  • Wennerlund, Lisa: Evaluating the need of cleaning using 3D point clouds derived from high resolution images collected with a drone. Advisors: Jonas Bohlin and Jonas Jonzén, SLU
